Xiaomi’s upcoming 15T and 15T Pro have just had their European price tags leaked, and not everyone is impressed.
The new models are expected to launch next month, roughly a year after the 14T series, but early reactions suggest Xiaomi may be treading water rather than breaking new ground.
The standard Xiaomi 15T is rumored to land at €649 in Europe, with a single configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Buyers will be able to choose between gray, black, and gold finishes. Meanwhile, the 15T Pro comes with the same base memory but offers two storage tiers: 256GB for €799 and 512GB for €899, available in the same color palette.
Specs-wise, the Pro is tipped to feature a triple-camera setup: a 50 MP main camera (OmniVision OVX9100 sensor), a 50 MP telephoto (Samsung ISOCELL JN5), and a 13 MP ultrawide (OmniVision OV13B). A 5,500 mAh battery paired with 90W wired charging rounds out the hardware. The regular 15T will slightly downgrade the main sensor to an OVX8000 and offer slower 67W charging, though the ultrawide, telephoto, and battery remain identical to the Pro model.
On paper, the upgrades look incremental: a slightly larger battery, a fresh SoC, and some sensor tweaks. For many users, especially those still on last year’s 14T or even the standout 13T lineup, these changes may not justify a jump to the new generation. After all, the 14T Pro is currently available in parts of Europe for around €400 new, nearly half the rumored launch price of the 15T Pro.
The T series has historically been Xiaomi’s sweet spot for price-to-performance, with the 13T and 13T Pro widely praised as the peak of the lineup in recent years. But as European prices creep closer to flagship territory, fans are starting to wonder if Xiaomi risks losing what made the T line special: great value without cutting too many corners. For some, the real leap might come with the 16T series – if Xiaomi decides to push the envelope instead of playing it safe.
