vivo X300 Spotted on Geekbench with Dimensity 9500: Early Scores Revealed

vivo is gearing up for the launch of its X300 series later this year, with the standard X300 model already making waves by appearing on Geekbench. The listing reveals the phone will debut with MediaTek’s next-generation Dimensity 9500 chipset, expected to be officially introduced in September.

The tested prototype, identified as model V2509A, came paired with a hefty 16GB of RAM and ran Android 16 out of the box.

The benchmark scores put the X300 at 2,352 in single-core and 7,129 in multi-core performance on Geekbench 6.3.0. While these numbers don’t set new records-especially when compared to the likes of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which hits around 11,500-they do offer a first glimpse of what to expect from the Dimensity 9500. It’s worth noting, though, that early benchmark results often fluctuate as devices are still under active development.

What stands out is the CPU structure: one prime core clocked at 4.21 GHz, three performance cores at 3.5 GHz, and four efficiency cores at 2.7 GHz. On the graphics side, the chipset relies on the Mali-G1-Ultra MC12 GPU. Some users see the inclusion of efficiency cores as a smart move by MediaTek, since phones without them often suffer from overheating during regular use. Others, however, remain skeptical, pointing to the relatively modest Geekbench scores.

With vivo expected to launch the X300 lineup between October and December, more details will surface soon. But for now, the Geekbench entry paints a picture of a device built for balance-mixing strong prime performance with everyday efficiency.
