vivo Vision MR Headset Debuts August 21 with Premium Design and 3D Interaction

vivo has officially confirmed the launch date for its first Mixed Reality headset, the vivo Vision, set for August 21. The announcement came via Weibo, accompanied by fresh teaser images revealing more of the device’s design and features.

The vivo Vision sports a premium metal build and a sleek visor housing its high-resolution displays, drawing clear inspiration from Apple’s Vision Pro.

Notable design details include a digital crown for adjusting display opacity, a knit light seal, and a comfortable rear band for a secure fit.

Hong Yi, General Manager of vivo Smart Device Products, revealed that the headset aims to match the immersive quality and precision of the Vision Pro, complete with true 3D controls-likely hand gestures-for intuitive interaction. The device will also be exceptionally lightweight to enhance comfort during extended use.

However, the vivo Vision won’t hit the mass market immediately. Instead, it will debut as an in-store experience at select vivo locations across China, where users can reserve sessions to test its spatial computing capabilities firsthand.
