vivo has officially confirmed that its upcoming vivo V60e will soon make its debut in India, and the device is already sparking discussions thanks to its combination of bold specifications and premium features. While the exact launch date remains under wraps, the company has lifted the curtain on design highlights, core hardware, and expected pricing – and it is shaping up to be one of the most eye-catching mid-range smartphones of the year.
The most headline-grabbing detail is, without question, the 200MP main rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). 
This marks the first time a V-series phone gets such a sensor. The phone will run FuntouchOS 15 based on Android 15 and include Gemini AI features. Software support has also been highlighted: three years of OS updates and five years of security patches, an increasingly important factor for buyers weighing long-term value.
The device doesn’t stop at performance and photography. vivo has given the V60e an IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance rating, something not commonly found in this price bracket. Color options include Elite Purple and Noble Gold, both aiming to appeal to buyers who want a premium look. Pricing has been set at under ₹40,000 (roughly $450), putting it squarely against the likes of OnePlus, Samsung, and Xiaomi mid-premium offerings. Whether the 200MP camera is a genuine game-changer or a marketing gimmick is something that only real-world testing will answer – but there’s no doubt that vivo is betting big on optics to stand out.
