The vivo V60 has officially landed in India, bringing a mix of high-end features and some questionable design choices that have already sparked debate among smartphone fans.
Available in Mist Gray, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold, the handset is being sold through vivo’s official website, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and partner retail stores.
The V60 comes in four configurations: 8GB/128GB at INR 36,999, 8GB/256GB at INR 38,999, 12GB/256GB at INR 40,999, and the top-end 16GB/512GB version at INR 45,999. While the price tag puts it head-to-head with devices from OnePlus’ Ace line or Oppo’s Reno series, some critics argue it doesn’t fully justify the premium.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and runs Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15. It features a 6.77-inch FullHD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and a massive 6,500mAh Si/C battery supporting 90W fast charging – impressive endurance for a device of this weight class.
Camera hardware is a highlight on paper: a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide, 50MP periscope telephoto (3x optical zoom), and a 50MP selfie shooter, all co-engineered with ZEISS. Yet early impressions suggest the ultrawide lens lags behind rivals, and the unusual pill-shaped camera island has drawn comparisons to old-school Nokia designs. Still, many agree the big battery in a relatively manageable form factor is a standout achievement.
Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, NFC, and an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. A full review is still on the way, but early buzz paints the V60 as a phone that mixes ambitious battery life and charging speeds with a few divisive design choices.
