vivo is getting ready to launch its new S50 series in China, and the brand has started to slowly reveal what buyers can expect. While the official unveiling date is still under wraps, launch is widely expected later this month, and vivo is already using teasers to build hype around the standard S50 and the more compact S50 Pro mini.

The latest teaser focuses on the back of the regular vivo S50.

The phone is shown in a stylish white finish with a subtle, almost shimmering pattern that vivo markets as Confession White. This separation in design mirrors how vivo often differentiates its Pro devices, signalling a slightly more premium or specialised experience even before you look at the spec sheet.

On the hardware side, early leaks and reports suggest that the vanilla vivo S50 will carry a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, aimed at users who value fluid scrolling and gaming performance.
