TCL has quietly unveiled its latest big-screen device in Colombia – the TCL 60 Ultra Nxtpaper. This phone doesn’t just join the growing TCL 60 lineup; it makes a bold statement with its massive 7.2-inch LCD display running at 120 Hz and offering a 1080×2340 resolution.

It’s one of the largest mainstream phones we’ve seen in years, echoing memories of Huawei’s Mate 20 X.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Fueling it all is a generous 5,200 mAh battery, which should help balance the demands of that giant screen and high refresh rate.

On the back, TCL has finally delivered a well-rounded camera package. The triple setup includes a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultrawide. Up front, there’s a 32 MP selfie camera. While some may raise eyebrows at the modest ultrawide resolution, the inclusion of a periscope telephoto is a big step forward for TCL’s mid-high tier devices.

The phone runs Android 15 out of the box and comes with IP68 water and dust resistance. Security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint reader embedded in the power button. For now, it comes in a single black color option. Pricing details remain under wraps, and TCL hasn’t yet confirmed which other markets will see the device beyond Colombia.

With its unusual combination of giant display, big battery, and a surprisingly complete camera system, the TCL 60 Ultra Nxtpaper stands out as one of the company’s most intriguing phones in recent memory – not quite a flagship, but certainly pushing the brand into new territory.
