A new Newzoo & Tebex report shows European gamers spend more on microtransactions than North Americans—and are far more likely to pounce on a deal. Sports games lead in Europe, shooters rule in the US, but both love their expansions, in-game currency, and power-ups. Loot boxes? Not so much—at least with real money.
