Google Photos is rolling out a new feature called ‘How Was This Made’ to help you tell if a photo or video is real, edited, AI-altered, or fully AI-generated. It’ll flag suspicious files and use embedded editing history to show you exactly how the media came to be. With deepfakes and fake content everywhere, this could be a game-changer for spotting what’s legit.
