T-Mobile Unveils T Phone 3 and T Tablet 2 Powered by Perplexity AI

Deutsche Telekom has officially unveiled its AI-driven T Phone 3 and T Tablet 2, marking a bold step into next-gen mobile experiences. Both devices run on the new Magenta AI OS, built atop Android 15, with Perplexity AI woven directly into the system – no more hopping between apps.

Instead, you speak or type to the assistant, and it handles tasks like sending messages, booking appointments, translating text, shopping online, or even scanning your camera feed for instant answers.

T Phone 3 sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ LTPS LCD at 120Hz, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and IP54 water/dust resistance. The rear houses a 50MP main camera and 2MP macro, while the front 13MP selfie shooter sits in a waterdrop notch. Buyers get 3 major Android updates and 6 years of security support. Available in Icy Silver for €149, or free with select plans, it’s launching in ten European markets. A Pro variant is promised later this year for those wanting more punch.

T Tablet 2 mirrors the AI-first approach, featuring a 10.1-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with TCL’s Nxtpaper tech for a paper-like feel, plus optional T-Pen stylus (€29.95) support. Under the hood is MediaTek’s MT8755 with 5G, dual SIM, microSD expansion, and a 6,000 mAh battery with 15W charging. It’s IP54 rated and ships with 5 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches. Priced at €199, it launches alongside the T Phone 3 in the same regions.

These devices aren’t just about specs – they’re about rethinking how you interact with your phone or tablet. Whether that AI logo feels futuristic or just decorative might split opinions, but Deutsche Telekom is clearly betting big on making AI your default interface.
