Microids has officially revealed the launch date for Syberia Remastered, the highly anticipated overhaul of the classic adventure game. This new version of the iconic title, which was first teased earlier this year, will be available on November 6, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
But that’s not all – in a surprising twist, Syberia Remastered will also be making its way to virtual reality on Meta Quest 3, launching a week later, on November 13, 2025.
The announcement was accompanied by a stunning ‘Before/After’ trailer, showcasing the significant visual upgrades that fans of the original game can look forward to in the remastered version. The graphics have been given a complete makeover, breathing new life into this classic title.
For those who prefer a tangible piece of gaming history, Microids will also release a physical edition of Syberia Remastered, but it will be available only in the UK for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. So, if you’re in the UK, get ready to grab a physical copy!
The story of Syberia follows Kate Walker, a lawyer from New York, who embarks on an adventure through the remote French Alps with her quirky companion Oscar. Their mission? To find the legendary inventor Hans Voralberg, who is determined to locate the last living mammoths on a mythical island, Syberia. The narrative is rich and immersive, with puzzles that challenge the player’s mind as they explore the depths of this fantastical world.
Aside from the visual improvements, long-time fans of the series are particularly excited to see the redesigned puzzles. Microids has promised to refine the gameplay experience with quality of life improvements that will make the entire journey smoother and more enjoyable. It’s clear that this remaster isn’t just about updating the graphics but also enhancing the overall experience for both newcomers and veterans alike.
