Konami pulled back the curtain on Silent Hill f during Gamescom ONL 2025, giving fans their most detailed look yet at the upcoming horror title.
The fresh gameplay trailer doesn’t just tease – this time it dives into combat, exploration, and the chilling narrative at the heart of the experience.
Set in a fog-drenched Japanese town, the story follows Hinako Shimizu as she searches for answers in a place overrun by nightmarish creatures. The eerie setting signals a major departure from the series’ usual U.S. locales, a creative choice meant to highlight the game’s core theme of finding ‘beauty in horror.’ The footage showcased haunting environments, grotesque monsters, and moments of tense combat that promise a true survival horror revival.
Despite the reveals, much of Hinako’s personal struggle and the mysterious force consuming her town remains shrouded in secrecy, leaving fans eager for answers. The wait won’t be long – Silent Hill f is set to release worldwide on September 25, 2025, across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
And for those who can’t get enough Silent Hill, Konami isn’t stopping there. Bloober Team’s full remake of the original Silent Hill is also on the horizon, meaning the franchise’s terrifying future is just as exciting as its past.
