The eerie setting signals a major departure from the series’ usual U.S. locales, a creative choice meant to highlight the game’s core theme of finding ‘beauty in horror.’ The footage showcased haunting environments, grotesque monsters, and moments of tense combat that promise a true survival horror revival.
