Samsung is gearing up for a major reveal on September 4, when it will officially launch the Galaxy S25 FE alongside the Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra.

But leaks won’t stop until then, and the latest round offers a full look at the phone’s colors and marketing focus.

The S25 FE will arrive in four shades – Navy, Jetblack, White, and Icyblue – with Navy pushed as the signature “hero color” in Samsung’s ads. Despite the marketing shine, the leaks reignited debate around whether the FE line is evolving enough compared to previous generations.

On the hardware side, the Galaxy S25 FE brings a 6.7-inch AMOLED display (1080×2340) running at 120 Hz, topped with Gorilla Glass Victus+. Inside is the Exynos 2400, paired with 8 GB RAM and either 128 or 256 GB of storage. The camera setup mirrors Samsung’s familiar recipe: 50 MP main with OIS, 12 MP ultrawide, and an 8 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. A 12 MP selfie shooter sits up front, backed by an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering it all is a 4,900 mAh battery, promising 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.

AI plays a central role in Samsung’s pitch this year, with Circle to Search and Google’s Gemini highlighted as integrated tools across Samsung and third-party apps. The phone is expected to ship with Android 16 running One UI 8 out of the box.

Yet, for all the polish, some long-time fans argue Samsung is recycling the same FE formula. Complaints include sticking with an 8 MP telephoto when competitors at half the price offer stronger sensors, and the presence of a bottom bezel despite promises of thinner panels. Others argue that while the S25 FE looks sleeker and lighter than the S24 FE, battery endurance still casts a shadow.

Still, there’s excitement among those who see the FE line as an affordable gateway to Samsung’s flagship experience. With its refined design, expanded AI features, and competitive specs, the Galaxy S25 FE could appeal to buyers who want a premium feel without the Ultra price tag – provided they can overlook the familiar compromises.
