Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy S25 FE in India, just a few weeks after its global unveiling. The device will hit Indian shelves on September 29, and Samsung is sticking with a pricing structure identical to last year’s model, which many see as both a safe and expected move.
The base 128GB storage variant will cost INR 59,999, the 256GB option is set at INR 65,999, and the top-tier 512GB version will retail for INR 77,999.
Interestingly, Samsung is also running a limited-time promotion, though with a catch. Buyers who opt for the 256GB variant at INR 65,999 will be upgraded to the 512GB model at no extra cost. However, the company is not extending the same benefit to the entry-level 128GB option, a decision that has already sparked mixed reactions from fans who feel left out of the deal.
As for aesthetics, the Galaxy S25 FE will be available in Navy, Jetblack, and White for the Indian market. Unfortunately, the popular Icy Blue shade that appeared elsewhere will not make its way to India, which could disappoint those who enjoy Samsung’s more adventurous color palettes.
On the hardware front, the S25 FE doesn’t cut corners. It sports a 6.7-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2340, delivering a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 1,900-nit peak brightness. Under the hood, it packs the Exynos 2400 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. The camera system is equally competitive, offering a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. For selfies, Samsung equips it with a 12MP front-facing camera.
The 4,900mAh battery supports 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, striking a balance between speed and convenience. While these specs place the phone in the upper mid-range segment, many argue that its incremental improvements may feel underwhelming compared to the previous generation. Still, the FE line has always been about delivering a flagship-like experience at a more approachable price, and Samsung seems committed to that formula.
Whether the Galaxy S25 FE will win over Indian buyers remains to be seen, especially in a market crowded with aggressive competitors offering strong specs at lower prices. But for loyal Samsung fans who appreciate the brand’s ecosystem and design consistency, this new Fan Edition could be the right blend of features and value.
