Samsung’s Fan Edition line has always been about striking a balance between affordability and premium features.
This year, the upcoming Galaxy S25 FE could finally deliver one of the most-requested upgrades: a 512GB storage option that won’t be locked to just a few regions.
In the past, buyers who wanted the highest storage tier had to hunt it down in limited markets. The Galaxy S24 FE’s 512GB version, for instance, was almost impossible to find outside select countries. That disappointment may soon be a thing of the past. Reports now suggest Samsung will launch the 512GB model of the S25 FE more widely, with Europe at the front of the rollout. Pricing whispers put the expanded model around €929, sitting above the usual 128GB and 256GB variants.
This move could shake up the competition. Google’s Pixel A-series, despite its reputation for great value, has yet to push past 256GB. Samsung is clearly aiming at heavy users: people who film 4K videos, download big games, or simply want peace of mind knowing they won’t run out of space. By making 512GB a mainstream option, Samsung is positioning the S25 FE as a practical powerhouse in the mid-range bracket.
The lingering question is the United States. Historically, U.S. buyers of FE models have missed out on the best configurations, often nudged toward full-priced flagships instead. Whether Samsung finally changes that strategy this year will be revealed when the company officially unveils the S25 FE, expected in September.
Given the rising demands of modern apps and high-resolution cameras, Samsung’s decision feels overdue. More storage isn’t just about numbers – it’s about removing the stress of constant file management. If the S25 FE really ships globally with a 512GB option, it could be the most compelling Fan Edition yet.

929 euro feels high but at least we get options
