Samsung has quietly completed its trio of entry-level releases with the arrival of the Galaxy F07 in India. Following the launch of the M07 just days earlier, this newcomer now joins the already available A07, creating a curious family of nearly identical smartphones – same internals, same screen, different names.

It’s a classic Samsung move aimed at dividing markets and price segments while keeping development costs low.

All three models – A07, M07, and F07 – are essentially the same phone wrapped in slightly different marketing stories. The Galaxy F07 is available exclusively in green, while the M07 gets a stealthy black finish. Under the hood, there’s no trickery: each carries the MediaTek Helio G99 chip, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, expandable via microSD. The 6.7-inch LCD display offers HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, good enough for smooth scrolling and casual gaming. A 5,000 mAh battery keeps it powered for a full day or more, depending on your habits.

On the camera front, Samsung stuck with a tried-and-tested formula: a 50 MP main sensor, a modest 2 MP depth sensor, and an 8 MP selfie camera for social media shots. There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and, perhaps surprisingly, Samsung’s promise of six major Android updates and six years of security patches – a rare commitment at this price point. Connectivity remains 4G-only due to the G99 chip, which some might find limiting in 2025.

While some users find this multi-name strategy confusing, others recognize it as part of Samsung’s broader approach to regional branding – similar to how Xiaomi splits its lineup into Redmi, Poco, and Mi sub-brands. The real difference may come down to display sourcing: some teardown leaks suggest the F07 could use Samsung-made panels, while the A07 uses BOE ones, explaining slight price variations. The Galaxy F07 is now available on Samsung’s Indian store for INR 7,699, positioning it as an affordable yet long-lasting smartphone with Samsung’s software support advantage. Whether this rebranding strategy creates clarity or chaos, it certainly ensures Samsung stays visible across every retail shelf.
