After months of rumors surrounding Samsung’s next budget earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE (not to be confused with the Buds 2 FE) have finally made a surprise appearance. Last week, the product listing briefly went live on Samsung’s Panama website, only to disappear shortly after. But now, thanks to a reliable mobile industry insider from France, we know when we can expect the official unveiling.
According to the leak, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE will be formally revealed on September 5, in perfect sync with the start of this year’s IFA trade show in Berlin.
While the Galaxy S25 FE and the Galaxy Tab S11 lineup have also been the subject of much speculation, it’s unlikely that they’ll be unveiled alongside the Buds 3 FE at IFA. These devices are likely to get their own launch events, separate from IFA’s global tech extravaganza. However, there’s a chance we could see other affordable earbuds and tablets, possibly including the mid-range Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, make their debut in Berlin alongside Samsung’s latest buds.
As for the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, we already know some key details. The new earbuds will offer up to 8.5 hours of uninterrupted listening time, and with the bundled charging case, that figure jumps to 30 hours. The price for the Galaxy Buds 3 FE is expected to be around €149 in Europe and $129 in the U.S., which is a slight increase over the first-gen Galaxy Buds FE’s $99 price. This bump is likely justified by improvements such as active noise cancellation, better audio performance, and the impressive battery life.
