The highly anticipated Redmi Note 15 Pro series is officially set to debut in China later this month, continuing Xiaomi’s tradition of refreshing its best-selling Note lineup on schedule.
Redmi General Manager Wang Teng Thomas confirmed the launch on social media, highlighting that the series will deliver high-end quality without revealing an exact release date.
The lineup is expected to include the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+. Wang also celebrated the Redmi Note series’ global reach, now shipping to over 100 countries, and noted that it topped smartphone sales in China in the $175–$499 price segment during the first half of 2025.
Leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS) claims that the base Note 15 Pro will feature drop resistance and waterproofing that outperforms the Honor X70, along with symmetrical bezels on all four sides. The Pro+ is rumored to push durability further while adding an upgraded display, improved cameras, and satellite connectivity-a first for Redmi phones in China. Inside, a MediaTek chipset is expected to power the Pro+, likely the Dimensity 7s Gen 3, while some fans still wish for slightly curved screens akin to Realme 15 rather than flat designs.
Enthusiasts are already debating whether Xiaomi should have released similarly rugged devices like the IP66/IP68/IP69-rated Redmi Note 14 Pro+ globally, instead of limiting such high-resilience models to China. Many are calling for competitive pricing to match the Honor X70 and for the Pro+ to expand beyond China and India.
With durability upgrades, satellite connectivity, and an aggressive price target, the Redmi Note 15 Pro series could set a new bar for midrange phones in late 2025-if Xiaomi listens to global fans eager for broader availability.
