Redmi Note 15 Pro Series Launching August 21 with Major Upgrades

Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch date for its highly anticipated Redmi Note 15 Pro series.

The new lineup, which includes the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+, will debut on August 21 at a dedicated event kicking off at 7 PM in Beijing (11 AM UTC).

Both devices are set to arrive with a serious durability upgrade: IP68/69K certification, ensuring water and dust resistance on par with some flagship competitors. This marks a first for the Redmi Note family, signaling Xiaomi’s push to add more premium touches to its midrange lineup.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is drawing the most attention thanks to rumored specs that could make it a performance beast in its class. Expected highlights include a 1.5K resolution display, a dual 50MP camera setup (main and telephoto), and an enormous 7,000+ mAh battery that could put endurance worries to rest. The phone is also tipped to be the first Redmi model in China to support satellite connectivity.

Powering the Note 15 Pro+ will likely be Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. While some fans argue the 7s series feels underwhelming compared to the Snapdragon 8 line, others believe the new chip could finally deliver performance close to the Snapdragon 888 but with improved efficiency and thermals. Beyond raw power, users are also calling for upgrades such as UFS 3.1 storage for smoother everyday performance.

With these enhancements, the Redmi Note 15 Pro series is shaping up to be more than just another midrange refresh – it could be one of the most ambitious Notes yet.
