Realme is preparing to turn heads at its 828 Fan Festival with an experimental smartphone that packs an enormous 15,000 mAh battery.
The Chinese brand has officially confirmed the capacity after teasing last week that it would unveil a device exceeding the 10,000 mAh mark.
According to Realme, this prototype is designed for extreme endurance. The company claims the phone can continuously record nearly 18.5 hours of video, stream up to 50 hours of playback, and survive over five days of regular use on a single charge. That kind of battery life could redefine expectations for heavy users who constantly worry about power banks and charging cables.
While Realme has kept most details under wraps, another teaser hinted at a model featuring an integrated cooling fan that reportedly reduces internal temperatures by as much as six degrees Celsius. It remains unclear if the giant-battery prototype and the fan-equipped phone are the same device or two separate concepts, but answers will come quickly with the festival kicking off tomorrow, August 27.
For now, one thing is certain: Realme is betting on bold experiments to grab attention in a crowded smartphone market – and a 15,000 mAh battery is a statement few rivals can ignore.
