The Realme GT 8 Pro is finally gearing up to leave China and head to Europe, and it is not sneaking in quietly.

A fresh leak has revealed both the European pricing and release timing, painting a clear picture of how aggressively Realme wants to position its latest flagship – and how much more it will cost than its predecessor.

According to the leak, the Realme GT 8 Pro will arrive in Europe in several configurations. The base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is expected to land at around €1,099 in the Eurozone and £999 in the UK. A higher-tier version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage reportedly climbs to €1,199 / £1,099.

On top of that, Realme is preparing a special Dream Edition co-branded with Aston Martin. This model, which will only be available in Aston Martin’s iconic racing green finish, is tipped to cost €1,299 and serve as the halo device in the lineup. It keeps the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage combo but adds the prestige of the partnership; interestingly, there is no leaked UK price for this variant yet. The non-Aston Martin versions should be offered in Urban Blue and Unary White, giving buyers more conventional color options.

Compared with the Realme GT 7 Pro, the new GT 8 Pro is said to be roughly €100 more expensive at launch. That has already raised eyebrows among enthusiasts, many of whom remember that the GT 7 Pro’s official price was more of a formality than a reality. In practice, it very quickly picked up discounts of about €200, and some users never even saw it selling at full MSRP. A similar situation is expected this time around: the recommended prices look steep on paper, but real-world street prices could settle closer to €999 or even €899 for the 12GB/256GB version once launch promos, flash sales, and trade-in deals kick in.

There is always the option of hunting for bargains through the grey market, but for a device flirting with €1,000 and beyond, many buyers will be understandably cautious. Warranty handling, import taxes, and unclear after-sales support make unofficial imports a risky bet at this price level, especially when authorized retailers and Realme’s own store tend to run frequent, aggressive promotions.

The Realme GT 8 Pro is reportedly scheduled to hit European shelves on November 24, just days after its wider international debut on November 20. At least in France, an introductory offer is expected to sweeten the deal: buyers should receive a 120W charging brick in the box, a kit of swappable rear camera islands to customize the look of the camera module, and a pair of Realme Buds Clip headphones at no extra cost. If similar bundles roll out across other markets, the total value proposition will look far more attractive than the raw price tag suggests.

Under the hood, the GT 8 Pro is every bit a modern flagship. It features a 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a crisp 1440 x 3136 resolution, adaptive 144 Hz refresh rate, and a claimed 7,000-nit peak brightness, making it a serious contender for outdoor visibility and fast-paced gaming. Powering the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM, which should easily handle demanding games, multitasking, and AI-driven features.

The camera setup is equally ambitious: a triple rear system with a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, a 200 MP periscope telephoto offering 3x optical zoom (also with OIS), and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. On the front, a 32 MP selfie camera takes care of social media shots and video calls. Backing all of this is a large 7,000 mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, which promises both endurance and very quick top-ups. On the software side, the phone runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0 on top, bringing the latest Android features together with the brand’s customization options.

Viewed purely on specs, the Realme GT 8 Pro clearly plays in the ultra-premium league, going head-to-head with high-end flagships from other Chinese brands and mainstream giants alike. The controversial part is the pricing: enthusiasts are already joking that BBK – the parent group behind Realme and several other brands – has lost its mind by pushing Realme so high. Many see €1,100 as optimistic for a company that built its fanbase on value-first flagships, especially when rivals like Nubia often undercut the competition with far more aggressive pricing in Europe.

Ultimately, the story of the Realme GT 8 Pro in Europe will be written not by the launch price, but by how quickly it drops. If it follows the pattern of the GT 7 Pro with immediate promotions that bring it closer to €899–€899 for the base model, it could become one of the most compelling performance phones of the season. Early adopters will pay the premium for day-one bragging rights and the Aston Martin green finish, while more patient buyers will watch price trackers, bide their time, and strike once the inevitable discounts hit.
