Realme has officially launched the Realme 15T in India, expanding its 15-series lineup with a device that emphasizes battery endurance and durability. Positioned as the third model in the family, the 15T balances high-capacity power with a slightly scaled-back charging speed, aiming to attract buyers who want longevity over raw charging numbers.
The smartphone features a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Interestingly, Realme claims a peak brightness of 4,000 nits, which places the device among the brightest displays available in this price segment. Tucked beneath the display is an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor, and sitting in the punch-hole cutout is a 50MP front-facing camera designed for crisp selfies and high-quality video calls.
Under the hood, the Realme 15T runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400 chipset, accompanied by 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB, ensuring decent flexibility for users who need extra space for apps, media, or gaming. While the Dimensity 6400 is not the most powerful processor in its class, it balances efficiency with moderate performance, making the phone suitable for casual gaming and multitasking rather than heavy-duty use.
The highlight, however, is the massive 7,000mAh battery, a rarity in mainstream smartphones. It is paired with 60W wired fast charging – slower than the 80W seen on other Realme 15 series models, but still capable of delivering practical all-day or even two-day endurance. On the back, Realme opts for a dual-camera setup: a 50MP primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture, assisted by a 2MP depth sensor.
Durability also plays a key role in the Realme 15T’s design. The device arrives with IP66/68/69 certification, offering dust resistance and protection against water immersion and high-pressure jets, making it more resilient than many competitors in this bracket. Out of the box, the phone runs Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, ensuring the latest software experience with customization options.
Buyers can choose between Flowing Silver, Silk Blue, and Suit Titanium colorways. The Realme 15T starts at INR 18,999 (roughly $215) for the 8/128GB variant, while the 8/256GB version is priced at INR 22,999 (about $260). Sales in India begin on September 6, setting the stage for what could be one of Realme’s most endurance-focused phones of the year.
Some early online chatter has pointed out that the Dimensity 6400 isn’t as competitive as Snapdragon-powered rivals in the same segment, while others joked about the design being a budget alternative to premium flagships. Still, the giant battery and robust IP certifications stand out as strong selling points, giving the Realme 15T its own unique appeal in a crowded mid-range market.
