Description

The Audio-Technica ATH-A990Z is a wired closed-back over-ear model designed for detailed, immersive listening. It uses large-aperture 53 mm drivers with OFC bobbin-wound voice coils for Hi-Res Audio reproduction, supported by an integrated yoke and top-mounted PCB that help improve transient response and airflow for more precise diaphragm movement. Lightweight aluminum housings help reduce resonance, while the Double Air Damping System enhances bass performance. A 3D wing support system and soft earpads are built for extended comfort. The 3.0 m cloth-wrapped cable resists tangling and connects to devices with a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a 6.3 mm stereo adapter is included for wider audio equipment compatibility.
