Pokémon fans, mark your calendars – San Francisco is set to host the first-ever PokémonXP Fan Celebration on August 28–30, 2026, at the Moscone Center.
Teased at the conclusion of the 2025 Pokémon World Championships, the event is designed as a massive gathering for the global Pokémon community, running alongside next year’s World Championships.
Organizers promise an expansive celebration of everything Pokémon, from panels, interactive workshops, and special guest appearances to exclusive merchandise and the highly coveted Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store. Normally reserved for championship attendees, the store will open to all PokémonXP badge holders, making this a rare chance for fans to access limited items.
Ticket sales begin in two waves on September 17, 2025 – first at 9 a.m. PT, then again at 8 p.m. PT. Attendees can choose between a standard multi-day pass or a premium multi-day + arena experience pass, which includes entry to the grand finals of the World Championships during Championship Sunday at the Chase Center. Both options come with Pokémon goodies: two TCG booster packs, a collectible pin, and an event lanyard.
Pricing starts at $70 for attendees under 18 and $120 for adults, with the initial “Pidgey pricing” tier offering discounted early-bird rates in limited supply. Single-day passes are expected to launch in spring 2026, alongside the full event program.
The Pokémon World Championships themselves are scaling up in 2026, moving Championship Sunday to San Francisco’s Chase Center – an arena with seating for over 18,000, a major upgrade from Anaheim’s 7,500-capacity venue that was filled to the brim this year.
