After weeks of anticipation, Oppo is finally ready to take its latest flagship smartphones – the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro – to the global stage. Originally unveiled in China earlier this month, the Find X9 series will now make its international debut through a live-streamed event on YouTube.
The stream begins on October 28 at 3 PM GMT (UK time), 4 PM across central Europe, 8:30 PM in India, 8 AM in California, and 11 AM in New York, marking a synchronized worldwide reveal for fans and tech enthusiasts.
European pricing has already caused a stir: according to leaks, the standard Find X9 will start at €999, while the top-tier Find X9 Pro is set to retail around €1,299. That puts Oppo’s new lineup directly against heavyweights like the Samsung Galaxy S24 and iPhone 15 Pro – a bold move for the brand seeking to reaffirm its premium status in global markets.
The Chinese variants set a high bar for design and hardware. The Find X9 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an eye-searing 3,600-nit peak brightness, ensuring crisp visuals even under direct sunlight. Powering the device is MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of internal storage. The camera setup includes three 50 MP sensors – a main shooter with OIS, a periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and an ultrawide lens with autofocus. The 32 MP selfie camera rounds off a capable photography package. A 7,025 mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support ensures it can go the distance.
The Find X9 Pro goes even further. It upgrades to a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel and introduces a jaw-dropping 200 MP periscope telephoto camera, promising professional-grade zoom performance. Battery life also sees a boost with a 7,500 mAh cell, although whether these exact specs survive international regulations remains uncertain. EU battery capacity limits have often forced manufacturers to trim specs for global models – but early reports hint that Oppo may have found a workaround this time.
With such ambitious hardware, Oppo clearly aims to challenge Samsung and Apple at their own game. For enthusiasts, the next big question is how these specs translate to real-world performance. The Find X9 series could mark a turning point for Oppo’s global ambitions, provided it delivers on its impressive spec sheet.
