OPPO’s next horizontal foldable is quietly taking shape. Fresh leaks out of China paint a confident portrait of the rumored Find N6 – a device aiming to be thinner and lighter than a non-folding Ultra while still pushing battery, camera, and durability forward.

If accurate, OPPO is preparing a foldable that tackles the category’s two biggest complaints – bulk and compromise – without walking back on power or endurance.

According to the leak, the Find N6 will pair an expansive 8.1-inch inner panel with a practical 6.6-inch cover display. That combo suggests a book-style foldable optimized for both tablet-like immersion and one-handed use when closed. At the helm sits Qualcomm’s next flagship silicon, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a chipset expected to deliver major AI acceleration, improved graphics efficiency, and sustained performance – exactly the trio you want in a thin chassis where heat and battery life are constant trade-offs.

Battery capacity is tipped to land around 6,000 mAh, a standout number for any foldable and ambitious even among slab phones. If OPPO hits that mark, it could soften the typical power anxiety that comes with dual displays and heavy multitasking. Wireless charging support is reportedly on board too – another convenience feature that hasn’t always been a given in the foldable world.

Imaging looks equally focused. The main camera is said to use Sony’s Lytia LYT-808 1/1.4-inch type sensor at 50MP, a well-regarded platform for dynamic range and reliable autofocus. If the reference point is the former, we’re looking at a folded thickness under 8.8 mm and weight below 226 g. Those targets aren’t fantasy; the Find N5 was already close at 8.9 mm folded and 229 g. Shaving tenths of a millimeter and a few grams while adding a bigger battery would be a serious engineering flex.
