The upcoming OnePlus 15 has started making waves after a prototype surfaced on Geekbench, hinting at some serious hardware upgrades. 
The device, identified under model number PLK110, was spotted running Qualcomm’s next flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. Early benchmark results appear underwhelming, but as with most pre-release units, performance will likely improve significantly by launch.
The test also confirmed 16GB of RAM and Android 16 onboard. According to the details revealed, Qualcomm’s new chip features two prime cores clocked at 4.61 GHz alongside six performance cores running at 3.63 GHz, making it one of the most powerful setups seen so far in a smartphone.
Meanwhile, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station claims the OnePlus 15 will sport a 6.78-inch display with a sharp 1.5K resolution. Storage and memory variants are expected to range from 12GB/256GB up to a massive 16GB/1TB, giving users multiple premium options. The phone will reportedly come in black, purple, and a striking “Titanium” finish, the latter being a marketing name rather than actual titanium construction.
Leaked renders suggest the design will be an evolution of OnePlus’s familiar aesthetic, but the hardware inside could be a game-changer. Alongside its next-gen processor, the OnePlus 15 is rumored to feature a huge 7,000 mAh battery – one of the largest ever seen in a mainstream flagship – as well as a triple camera setup led by a 50 MP main sensor and supported by a periscope zoom lens.
The OnePlus 15 is expected to make its official debut in China this October, with global availability to follow shortly after. If the leaks hold true, it could be one of the most powerful and feature-packed flagships of the year.
