One Piece Season 2 Trailer Unveils New Characters and Season 3 Confirmation

Netflix has dropped the first trailer for One Piece Season 2 during the annual One Piece Day celebration in Tokyo, and it came with a surprise – official confirmation that Season 3 is already on the way. The one-minute sneak peek teases the next leg of Monkey D.

Luffy’s (Iñaki Godoy) live-action adventure, offering glimpses of fan-favorite Straw Hat crew members alongside exciting new faces.

Along with the returning cast – Luffy, Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero), and Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu) – the trailer introduces Lera Abova as Nico Robin and Callum Kerr as Smoker, characters that fans of Eiichiro Oda’s original manga will instantly recognize. The short but packed footage hints at big arcs ahead, though Netflix has yet to reveal a firm release date.

While the streaming giant confirmed Season 3 at the very end of the trailer, Season 2 isn’t expected to set sail until 2026 – almost three years after the first season’s debut. This slow rollout has some fans worried they’ll be waiting years to reach iconic arcs like Enies Lobby, but Netflix appears committed to expanding its live-action anime universe for the long haul.

In the meantime, fans can revisit newly released set images and an early look at live-action Tony Tony Chopper before his grand entrance next season. The seas may feel calm for now, but the Straw Hats are gearing up for another bold voyage – with plenty more adventures already on the horizon.
