NVIDIA GeForce On Community Update: Features Over Hardware Ahead of Gamescom

NVIDIA has set the stage for its GeForce On Community Update, but fans expecting shiny new hardware will need to cool their jets. The company made it clear that there will be no fresh GPU reveals this time around.

Instead, the focus is on polishing the GeForce ecosystem and dropping significant updates for GeForce NOW, NVIDIA’s cloud gaming platform.

The livestream, premiering at noon PT on Twitch and YouTube, comes just days before Gamescom 2025 in Germany. While NVIDIA is keeping its RTX 50 “SUPER” series under wraps for now, it promises that gamers will see improvements across overlays, graphics enhancements, and performance tweaks within the GeForce suite.

The biggest spotlight, however, shines on GeForce NOW. Expect announcements about new games entering the library, technical optimizations, and feature upgrades aimed at making cloud play more seamless. NVIDIA also teased that some of the most highly anticipated upcoming titles will take center stage during the broadcast – an early appetizer for Gamescom.

Though no hardware drops are planned, Gamescom itself will still deliver RTX-powered showcases of titles like Borderlands 2, Mecha BREAK, Phantom Blade Zero, and more. On top of that, attendees can look forward to RTX 50 series GPU giveaways and fan prizes, ensuring the hardware buzz isn’t completely absent.

For now, the GeForce On Community Update is less about shiny new silicon and more about ecosystem maturity, software innovation, and the future of cloud gaming.
