Nvidia is finally bringing its GeForce Now cloud gaming service to India this November, five years after its debut in North America and Europe. The announcement comes with another major update: the powerful Blackwell RTX architecture will also roll out to the service in September, boosting performance for gamers worldwide.
The timing couldn’t be more significant. 
Nvidia recently expanded GeForce Now into Thailand and has plans for more countries soon, signaling a strong push into global markets where cloud gaming is still relatively new.
With the Blackwell RTX upgrade, players will gain access to cloud PCs powered by the GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, a serious leap in performance. Premium subscribers can look forward to a new Install to Play feature, while upcoming blockbusters such as Borderlands 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 are set to be available on the platform, taking full advantage of the RTX 5080 power.
Pricing for India has not yet been revealed, but expectations are high. In the US, the service is available at $19.99 per month for the Ultimate tier (or $199.99 annually), while the Performance tier is priced at $9.99 per month. Gamers in India are waiting to see how Nvidia will position its offering in a market where affordability often decides adoption.
For now, the big question is whether India’s gaming community – traditionally focused on mobile and PC/console gaming – will embrace cloud gaming in large numbers. Nvidia’s long-awaited arrival could be the push needed to grow the cloud gaming scene, provided the pricing and performance hit the sweet spot.
