NVIDIA DLSS 4 Reaches 175+ Games, Adds Full Path Tracing in Major 2026 Releases

NVIDIA has confirmed that its latest AI-powered rendering technology, DLSS 4, is now supported in more than 175 PC titles, with even bigger names joining the lineup in the coming months.

Announced at Gamescom 2025, the company emphasized that DLSS 4 paired with full path tracing is quickly becoming the standard for blockbuster games rather than an experimental extra.

Two of the biggest showcases for this tech will arrive in 2026: Resident Evil Requiem from CAPCOM and Directive 8020 from Supermassive Games, both confirmed to launch with DLSS 4 and full path tracing. Fans have speculated that Supermassive’s delay of Directive 8020 may be tied to the integration of these demanding features.

A wave of other high-profile releases will also leverage DLSS 4 and advanced ray tracing: the stealth-action adventure Black State (Motion Blur), MMO shooter Cinder City (NCSoft), horror-survival Cronos: The New Dawn (Bloober Team), Dying Light: The Beast (Techland), sandbox survival Honeycomb: The World Beyond, stylish action hit Lost Soul Aside, sci-fi RPG The Outer Worlds 2 (Obsidian), swordplay-driven Phantom Blade Zero, and CAPCOM’s ambitious PRAGMATA.

Gearbox is also upgrading Borderlands 4 with DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation, while Saroasis Studios’ free-to-play anime-inspired shooter Fate Trigger will push RTX 50 series cards to new limits with the same tech.

NVIDIA’s VP of global GeForce marketing, Matt Wuebbling, said that DLSS 4 and path tracing are now the “foundation of modern PC gaming,” praising developers for embracing AI rendering to deliver both massive performance boosts and photorealistic detail. With dozens of upcoming releases committing to DLSS 4, the message is clear: the future of PC gaming is AI-driven graphics.
