These boards not only celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Godlike series but also raise the bar for design, cooling, and overclocking potential.

The MEG X870E GODLIKE X Edition arrives as a collector’s piece – only 1,000 will be produced, each carrying a gold nameplate etched with its unique number. Styled in black and gold, the board ships with a custom stand, bundled extras, and even a black Lucky Stuff plush

. More than just eye candy, it has already proven its capabilities: Taiwanese overclocker TSAIK pushed the Ryzen 7 9700X past 7.3 GHz on this board, a feat that highlights its reinforced power delivery and OC Engine.

MSI isn’t stopping at GODLIKE. The company is rolling out a complete X870E MAX series, including the MEG ACE MAX, MPG CARBON MAX WIFI, MPG EDGE TI MAX WIFI, MAG TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI, and MAG GAMING PLUS MAX WIFI.

Each offers upgraded VRMs with enlarged heatsinks, 64 MB BIOS capacity (up from 32 MB), Wi-Fi 7, USB 40Gbps, and 5G LAN (10G on premium GODLIKE and ACE MAX models). These improvements ensure better compatibility with current and future Ryzen CPUs while delivering higher bandwidth for GPUs and M.2 drives.

The boards bring MSI’s OC Engine technology front and center, enabling independent BCLK control and up to 15% better gaming performance. EZ DIY features like PinSafe connectors, one-click M.2 shields, and quick-release PCIe slots show MSI’s attention to both enthusiasts and everyday builders.

From the carbon-black CARBON MAX to the sleek silver EDGE TI MAX, MSI is offering styles for every taste – but all share one mission: to future-proof the AM5 platform. Pricing and availability are still under wraps, but the message is clear: MSI wants to define the next generation of high-end Ryzen motherboards.
