Despite facing a high-profile lawsuit from Apple, Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech (FPT) is back with fresh iPhone 17 Pro renders – and he’s not holding back. Just last month, Apple accused Prosser of illegally accessing a developmental iPhone containing iOS 26, allegedly used to leak unreleased app designs via online renders.

Prosser has strongly denied the claims in a series of tweets.

Apple suggested the prototype device held far more sensitive data than Prosser revealed. Many expected him to pause his Apple coverage during the legal battle

. Instead, a new FPT video dropped this week featuring what Prosser calls a “near final” iPhone 17 Pro render, complete with playful on-screen jabs at Apple, including a cheeky disclaimer: “Speculation, don’t sue me or anything lol.”

According to Prosser, Apple’s rumored camera bar for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will extend the periscope lens range well beyond the current 120mm focal length, enabling more than 5x optical zoom. He claims both models will feature a 48MP Telephoto camera – a significant jump from the 12MP found on the iPhone 16 Pro lineup.

Prosser also reports the iPhone 17 Pro will be slightly thicker at 8.73mm compared to 8.25mm on its predecessor, with Apple testing a striking orange color option. He echoed prior rumors about a subtly repositioned Apple logo and confirmed whispers of a 5000mAh battery for the iPhone 17 Pro Max – a first for the brand.

Never one to avoid controversy, Prosser continued his long-running digs at Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, despite both having been wrong in the past – notably with inaccurate flat-edge Apple Watch Series 7 renders. Some even speculate Apple intentionally leaked false designs to mislead both leakers, a theory that has never been confirmed.

Whether you love or loathe Prosser’s style, his latest move sends a clear message: the lawsuit won’t silence him. If anything, it seems to have fueled his determination to keep revealing Apple’s next big moves, one render at a time.
