iQOO has quietly rolled out a fresh version of its Z10 Lite smartphone, and it’s quite a departure from the model that launched earlier this year. Instead of the Dimensity 6300 chip with 5G support, the new Z10 Lite opts for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 – which means you’re stuck on 4G. It runs Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 right out of the box and offers up to 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
Unfortunately, there’s no microSD card slot, so storage expansion is off the table.
The display sees a noticeable upgrade in quality: a slightly smaller 6.67-inch panel compared to the previous 6.74-inch, but now it’s a 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED with 1,200 nits typical brightness and up to 1,800 nits peak. That’s a major step up from the older 90Hz HD+ LCD. Audio lovers will also appreciate the stereo speakers.
Battery life remains at a generous 6,000 mAh, but charging speed has jumped from a sluggish 15W to a much faster 44W. Cameras get a boost too – an 8MP selfie shooter replaces the old 5MP, while the rear hosts a 50MP Sony IMX582 main sensor and a 2MP depth unit. Other perks include an in-display fingerprint reader, IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, underwater photography mode, and wet-hand touch support.
Design-wise, the Z10 Lite’s refreshed look comes in Taiga and Glacier colors, with 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations. If it feels familiar, that’s because it’s essentially a reworked vivo Y400 4G from Indonesia. The catch? iQOO hasn’t revealed pricing or launch dates yet – and with the Snapdragon 685 inside, opinions are already split on whether it’s worth waiting for.
