The upcoming iQOO 15 is shaping up to be one of the most powerful Android smartphones of the year, combining raw performance with thoughtful hardware design. While the Chinese launch is officially confirmed for October 20, the brand’s Indian division has now announced that the device will debut in India this November, suggesting a near-simultaneous global release similar to last year’s iQOO 13 rollout.
The move continues iQOO’s trend of treating India as one of its key international markets.
Although the full spec sheet hasn’t been published yet, several critical details are already confirmed. The iQOO 15 will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC – a chip designed for extreme multitasking, gaming, and AI-driven optimization. The device also integrates a dedicated Q3 gaming processor that enhances frame stability and touch response, making it ideal for mobile gamers. The front will house a stunning 6.85-inch 2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, offering ultra-smooth visuals that rival gaming monitors. The phone will come with OriginOS 6 out of the box, the same system we’ve recently tested on the vivo X200 Pro, known for its fluid transitions and deep customization.
Perhaps most impressive is the massive 7,000mAh battery, a rarity in the premium segment, backed by 100W wired fast charging and wireless charging support (speed yet to be revealed). The iQOO 15 will also boast IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, suggesting durability on par with rugged devices. With these specs, the phone could easily blur the line between smartphone and laptop replacement – especially for users who rely on high-performance mobile computing.
Design-wise, the iQOO 15 will be offered in four color variants in China, and a recent Weibo unboxing video already teased its premium aesthetics. Many fans are still hoping for a European release, as the iQOO lineup remains largely confined to Asian markets. If global availability expands this cycle, the iQOO 15 could become one of the most competitive flagship contenders of 2025.
