inZOI is set to launch on PlayStation 5 (PS5) in early 2026, with an Xbox version still under consideration. The announcement came from inZOI Studio, an internal team of Krafton, who are excited to bring the life simulation game to Sony’s latest console.
The developers are working to provide the best experience possible for PS5 players, though the Xbox port is not confirmed yet.
The game’s initial release on Steam Early Access on March 28 was met with high expectations, quickly becoming a million-seller. However, the game has faced criticism, with recent Steam reviews being “Mixed,” and only 47% of the 618 reviews from the past month rating it positively. Some players feel that inZOI still lacks sufficient content and features to justify a full launch.
With the PS5 release slated for early 2026, it’s likely that inZOI will stick to its one-year Early Access phase before a 1.0 release. This means the final release on both PC and PS5 could happen as early as March 2026. However, inZOI Studio will need to carefully consider community feedback, and possibly delay the full launch to refine the game further.
In June, the game received an update for a Modkit, enabling players to create and share custom content. This tool is available for free through the Epic Games Store, but it’s still uncertain whether this will be offered on the PS5, given the platform’s typical limitations with user-generated content.
