Honor is gearing up for the release of its next big battery beast, the Honor Power 2, expected to arrive in the first half of next year. The original Honor Power debuted in April with an 8,000 mAh battery, but its successor is set to take endurance to the next level with a massive 10,000 mAh cell – a jump of 25% in capacity.
Leaks from China suggest the device will feature a 6.79-inch LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution.
While this is only slightly larger than its predecessor’s panel and keeps the same resolution, the performance upgrade looks far more meaningful. The Power 2 is rumored to swap out the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 for MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500, promising improved efficiency and power management – a key factor when paired with such a huge battery.
This move shows Honor doubling down on what made the Power line stand out: extreme battery life. While some may dismiss the modest screen tweaks, the combination of a more advanced chipset and a record-setting battery capacity could make the Power 2 a game-changer for users who prioritize longevity over constant charging.
As the leaks continue to flow, more details about cameras, charging speeds, and pricing are likely to surface. For now, Honor fans can expect a phone that blurs the line between smartphone and power bank – and that’s exactly what some users are hoping for.

Dimensity 8500 is way better than Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, so it’s not just battery upgrade bro
Lol this thing is more like a power bank with a screen, and I love it 😂
