Honor Magic8 Series Rumored to Launch in Mid-October

Honor is preparing to unveil its next flagship lineup, the Honor Magic8 series, with reports pointing to a mid-October debut.

This launch would come slightly earlier than last year’s Magic7 family, which arrived in late October and went on sale in early November 2024.

Leaks suggest the Magic8 lineup could eventually include up to four models: the base Magic8, Magic8 Pro, a compact Magic8 Mini, and a premium Magic8 Ultra. However, insiders note that the Mini and Ultra versions may not appear until early 2026, with the initial reveal focusing on the main models.

The series is expected to land in four color finishes and bring several premium features across the range, including wireless charging, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors, and periscope-style telephoto cameras. Larger batteries are also said to be part of the upgrade package, giving the devices more staying power.

Among the highlights, the Honor Magic8 Mini could stand out for its slim design, a 6.3-inch display, and a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset under the hood. This model may cater to those who want flagship performance in a smaller, more portable frame.

With Honor aiming to stay competitive in the high-end Android market, the Magic8 series is shaping up to be a strong successor to the Magic7 generation.
