Honor is bringing its next-generation foldable, the Honor Magic V5, to the UK on August 28. First launched in China in July, the device has already made stops in Malaysia, Romania, and Bulgaria. Now the brand is preparing for a major international rollout, with London hosting the official global launch event. Alongside the foldable, Honor will also unveil the MagicBook Pro 14 2025, the Magic Pad 3, and the Earbuds Open.

The Magic V5 stands out as one of the thinnest foldables yet, measuring just 4.2mm when unfolded and weighing around 222g.

Under the hood, it’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of storage.

Its inner display is a 7.95-inch flexible OLED panel boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and an eye-searing 5,000 nits of peak brightness. The external 6.43-inch OLED panel matches these specs, making both screens equally impressive for everyday use.

Photography enthusiasts will find a versatile triple-lens setup on the back: a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens. Both the internal and external displays feature their own 20MP selfie cameras, a rare move in the foldable segment.

The global version of the Magic V5 packs a 5,820 mAh battery with 66W wired charging and 50W wireless support, promising strong endurance paired with fast refueling options. Pricing for the UK and European markets will be announced during the London event.
