Honor is gearing up for the big reveal of its next-generation clamshell foldable, the Magic V Flip 2, with fresh leaks shedding light on its impressive hardware.
Scheduled to debut in China on August 21, the phone will launch in four color variants, with a special edition created in collaboration with fashion icon Prof. Jimmy Choo.
The Magic V Flip 2 will sport a 6.82-inch internal LTPO AMOLED display boasting Full HD+ resolution and a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, it will feature a sizeable 4-inch LTPO panel, also with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, making quick glances and notifications more stylish and functional.
Photography enthusiasts can expect a headline-grabbing 200MP primary rear camera, accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide lens. A 50MP front camera will handle selfies with sharp detail and vibrant colors. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor will drive performance, supported by a generous 5,500mAh battery. Charging won’t be an issue, thanks to 80W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
The foldable will include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, weigh 204g, and measure just 6.9mm when folded, expanding to 15.5mm when opened. It’s shaping up to be one of the slimmest and most powerful foldables yet, merging cutting-edge design with flagship-level specs.
