Honor is preparing to unveil its Magic V Flip 2, the follow-up to last year’s first flip foldable, and this time it’s arriving in style with a special Jimmy Choo edition.
The company’s latest teaser on Weibo shows off the phone’s shimmering back panel, officially described as the “Hidden Starry Sky” design – a glittering finish that gives the flip a luxurious, fashion-first appeal.
Rumors suggest the Magic V Flip 2 will feature an edge-to-edge 4-inch cover screen, a 6.8-inch FHD+ LTPO folding OLED main display, and a massive 5,500 mAh battery paired with either 66W or 80W fast charging. The camera setup is expected to include a 50 MP main shooter, while power will come from a Snapdragon 8 series chipset, promising flagship-level performance.
While Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip series has dominated the flip market, Honor seems to be aiming straight at one of its biggest criticisms – battery life. If the 5,500 mAh rumor holds true, this could make the Magic V Flip 2 the longest-lasting flip phone on the market. The official reveal is expected later this week, and all eyes will be on whether Honor can deliver both style and stamina in a single foldable package.
