Honor is gearing up to unveil the Magic V Flip 2 in just a few days, and the company is already making bold claims about its durability and power. A fresh teaser on Weibo highlights the foldable’s advanced UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) display, which Honor says can withstand an impressive 350,000 folds.
That’s roughly five years of everyday use without compromising functionality, with the crease reportedly staying under 50µm even after heavy testing.
While UTG isn’t exactly a brand-new concept – Samsung was one of the first to introduce it in its early foldables – Honor hasn’t revealed what makes their version different. Still, the endurance numbers are attention-grabbing, suggesting this could be one of the most robust foldable screens yet.
In addition to the display durability, the teaser confirms a large 5,500 mAh battery paired with 80W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging. A recent leak adds even more intrigue, hinting at a flagship-grade camera setup with a massive 200MP main sensor alongside a 50MP secondary camera. If the rumors prove true, the Magic V Flip 2 could be a formidable player in the foldable market, blending resilience, performance, and power efficiency.
