On the front, the 500 line is tipped to use a flat display with rounded corners rather than the subtle curves seen on some earlier Honors. That, paired with a uniform bezel strategy, suggests a practical, confident design aimed at durability and easy screen protector fits.
Under the hood, the family is rumored to split performance tiers clearly: Honor 500 Pro aligning with a flagship-class Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, while the Honor 500 targets upper-midrange buyers with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Both models are expected to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and punchy contrast. The sketch and chatter also imply a push on imaging – think faster sensors, improved HDR processing, and better low-light capture – plus gains in thermal management and battery endurance.
There’s one catch: insiders are already cautioning about a possible price bump. Given the rumored silicon upgrades, faster displays, and camera revamp, a modest increase would track with broader industry trends.
