Google has officially revealed its Pixel 10 family, which includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
But before you hit that preorder button, here’s what you’ll actually find when you crack open the box.
What’s included?
For US buyers, the contents are minimal. The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL each ship with just a single accessory: a 1-meter USB-C to USB-C cable. That’s it. No charger, no SIM eject tool, no extras. Google has gone all-in on eSIM in the US, so even the SIM pin is gone.
If you’re outside the US, there’s a tiny bonus: you still get the SIM eject tool in addition to the cable.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold, however, slightly breaks the mold. Open its box and you’ll find the USB-C cable and a SIM tool. Still no charger, no Quick Switch Adapter, no protective case – just the bare minimum to get you started.
What’s missing?
Gone are the days when Google tossed in helpful extras like the Quick Switch Adapter for easy data transfer. Charging bricks remain absent too, continuing a trend across the industry. Google’s stance is that USB-C has become universal – your old chargers and adapters should be enough to power your phone, tablet, and laptop. The company frames this as both eco-friendly and practical, though it does leave buyers to either reuse what they already own or spend more on accessories.
The takeaway
If you were hoping for surprises, the Pixel 10 box keeps it simple. Expect only the essentials and nothing beyond. In line with the industry’s shift toward minimal packaging, Google is prioritizing sustainability and standardization over extras. Love it or hate it, that’s the direction smartphones are headed.
