Google has officially started teasing the Pixel 10 with a new video that spotlights its upcoming AI-powered features.
While Apple continues to struggle with the rollout of its promised Apple Intelligence and an upgraded Siri, Google is leaning on its proven Gemini platform to showcase practical AI in action.
The teaser asks bold questions: “What if your phone could do things other phones couldn’t?” One highlight is Super Res Zoom, which uses computational photography and AI to deliver sharp, detailed shots even from far away-perfect for concerts or sports events when you’re stuck in the cheap seats. Another standout is Add Me, which allows you to snap a group photo and then seamlessly insert yourself later as if you were there all along. Google frames it with the clever line: “While you used to be on the other side of the camera, now the camera is on your side.”
Unlike Apple’s overpromised AI demo that had to be walked back, Google has the advantage of Gemini already replacing Google Assistant. Early users say Gemini isn’t just a chatbox but a digital companion that makes deeper interaction natural and useful. That’s where Apple fell short-big promises, late delivery. Google, however, shows it’s ready to put AI in your hands now.
The Pixel 10 lineup, along with the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a, will be revealed during the Made by Google event on August 20. Until then, the teaser leaves fans with a thought-provoking line: “What if you asked more of your phone and your phone answered?”
