Google’s Gemini app now offers a powerful feature called Gemini Live that can save Android and iOS users plenty of time and effort. This mode allows you to hold natural, back-and-forth conversations with Gemini, almost like chatting with a friend. 
Whether you’re discussing sports predictions or planning your day, Gemini Live responds with up-to-date, relevant information.
Activating Gemini Live is simple: open the Gemini app, look for the Ask Gemini box at the bottom of your screen, and tap the last icon on the right – a waveform with the signature Gemini sparkle. Once enabled, you can talk to Gemini and control various apps without typing.
Gemini Live integrates with key Google services on both Android and iOS, including Google Calendar, Keep Notes, and Google Tasks. For example, you can say, “Add an appointment on August 10th with Captain Crunch at 2 pm to my Google Calendar,” and Gemini will instantly schedule it. You can also add or edit Keep Notes lists – such as updating a shopping list with “cat food” – and the changes appear right away.
Even when Gemini says it can’t perform an action, it sometimes still completes the task in the background – as one user found when creating a reminder in Google Tasks. The task appeared in the app with a completion button ready to press.
iPhone users can easily download the required Google apps – Calendar, Keep, and Tasks – directly from the App Store. Once installed, these integrations make managing your schedule, notes, and to-dos faster and easier than ever.
