Bloodthief, a wild blend of medieval grit and high-speed parkour, is landing on PC September 22, 2025.
Bloodthief Sinks Its Fangs Into PC This September
Marketed as a ‘boomer-slasher,’ it swaps out the neon glow of cyberpunk cities for stone castles, bloodied halls, and armored knights who sprint at you with blades raised.

Think Ghostrunner, but dialed up in speed and stripped of the cyber wires. Instead of one-hit-kill precision, Bloodthief lets you soak a few blows before death sends you back to the checkpoint. What makes it stand apart is the freedom of movement: wall-runs, acrobatic jumps, and clever shortcuts that reward experimentation. Early demo players discovered alternate paths just by daring to leap into seemingly impossible gaps – and making it.

The debut game from indie studio Blargis already turned heads during Steam Next Fest this summer, where its demo earned praise for combining arcade simplicity with surprising depth. Its medieval aesthetic – muted stone and shadow – makes every splash of blood uncomfortably vivid, a striking departure from cyberpunk neon. Watching armored foes flail and stumble in that setting has a strange, brutal comedy to it.

For fans waiting on One More Level’s Valor Mortis, which isn’t due until next year, Bloodthief could be the perfect bridge. It may not be as polished or futuristic, but it feels like a raw, faster, and nastier cousin that isn’t afraid to wear its fangs proudly.
