BlizzCon 2026 Tickets: Dates, Prices, and What to Expect in Anaheim
Blizzard has confirmed the ticket plan for its big return to Anaheim: BlizzCon 2026. The first wave arrives in just two days, with Early Bird sales opening on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 9:00 AM Pacific and running through Sunday, November 9, at 11:59 PM Pacific (or while supplies last). Early Bird pricing is set at $249.99, and that figure already includes all taxes and fees. Notably, the per-account purchase cap has been raised from two to four passes, a welcome change for friends and guilds trying to attend together.
If you miss the first window, a second wave goes live on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 9:00 AM Pacific at $289.99. Tickets are handled exclusively through Tixr, and you’ll need a (free) Tixr account to check out. Expect heavy traffic at opening minute – have your credentials, payment details, and party plan squared away in advance.
What your ticket covers
Each pass grants two full days of admission to BlizzCon 2026 – Saturday and Sunday – with access to all halls and the Arena during show hours. As is tradition, attendees will also receive in-game goodies (to be revealed closer to the show) and exclusive commemorative items you can’t get elsewhere. For veterans, this is the classic BlizzCon formula; for first-timers, it’s effectively a weekend-long tour of Blizzard’s worlds, communities, and dev teams under one roof.
Dates, venue, and the big stage
BlizzCon returns to its long-time home, the Anaheim Convention Center, on September 12–13, 2026. The centerpiece remains the Opening Ceremony on the Main Stage in Hall D, where the biggest reveals traditionally land. Seating is first-come, first-served, so lining up early is the smart play if you want the best view of the keynote and surprise announcements.
Announcements to watch
While Blizzard is keeping specifics under wraps, all signs point to a headline moment for Diablo IV, with its next expansion due sometime in 2026. On the Warcraft side, the World of Warcraft: Midnight chapter – part of the Worldsoul Saga – has been rumored for a February launch window, making BlizzCon a natural venue for deep dives, live demos, or last-minute surprises. Expect sustaining updates, balance talk, and roadmaps across World of Warcraft, Overwatch 2, Hearthstone, and Diablo Immortal throughout the weekend’s developer panels.
This year’s show also carries a bit of narrative continuity. The last in-person BlizzCon took place on November 3–4, 2023, where Blizzard unveiled the Worldsoul Saga – a trilogy spanning The War Within, Midnight, and The Last Titan – with a continuous storyline steered by returning writing lead Chris Metzen. 2026 is poised to be the point where some of those long-teased threads get pulled.
Community mood: hype, hope, and healthy skepticism
Among long-time fans, the temperature is mixed – and that’s worth acknowledging. Veterans who came up on Warcraft II, Diablo, and the early World of Warcraft expansions remember the crescendo around Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King as an era Blizzard rarely matched. Some remain wary after uneven chapters like Diablo III and the rocky launch trajectory of Diablo IV, while others simply want the universes they love to feel bold again. At the same time, there’s real excitement for potential Heroes of the Storm shout-outs, fresh WoW storytelling via the Saga, and the chance for Diablo IV’s next expansion to deliver on darker, meatier ARPG fantasies.
How to prepare
- Create/verify your Tixr account and save payment details before sales open.
- Coordinate your group: with four-pass limits, one buyer can grab a full party if everyone’s ready.
- Plan for Hall D: Opening Ceremony seating is first-come; build your Saturday morning around it.
- Pack for panels: the best Q&As and roadmap updates often land in smaller rooms later in the day.
Whether you’re chasing front-row chills at the keynote or quietly hoping Blizzard rekindles that old-school spark, BlizzCon 2026 is shaping up as a milestone weekend. Tickets drop soon; if you want in on the first wave, set those alarms and get your party lined up.
