The event isn’t just a nostalgic celebration – it’s also a practical way for fans to unlock rewards that will carry straight into Battlefield 6 on day one.

The pass features 50 exclusive cross-rewards, including 20 items that will be instantly available in Battlefield 6 once the game launches. Classic hardware returns, with the KFS2000 rifle included in the free track, the LYNX sniper rifle reserved for open beta participants, and the long-awaited unvaulting of the A10 Warthog and SU-25TM Frogfoot jets. To top it off, DICE is reimagining the legendary Iwo Jima map for the event, tapping into one of the series’ most beloved battlegrounds.

Leaks hint at even bigger things: at least two unreleased Battlefield 6 maps are reportedly larger than anything we’ve seen before, promising massive-scale combat. And while the studio made adjustments to Rush mode after negative fan feedback, the overall reaction to the Battlefield 6 beta has been remarkably strong, with concurrent player counts surging on Steam. Early hands-on impressions highlight cinematic destruction, strategic depth, and some of the most exciting multiplayer firefights of the year.

Players who left 2042 behind at launch are finding reasons to return, with many noting how much the game has evolved. For others, the beta sparked the most fun they’ve had in Battlefield for a decade. Still, concerns remain over map balance, infantry-heavy combat that drifts toward a Call of Duty style, and the looming shadow of battle pass monetization. Yet despite skepticism, Battlefield 6 seems poised for one of the franchise’s biggest launches in years.
