ASRock has officially listed its Radeon RX 9070 XT Monster Hunter Wilds Edition on Newegg, priced at $699. Themed after Capcom’s upcoming Monster Hunter: Wilds game, this special GPU brings a unique visual flair to one of AMD’s most in-demand cards.
With a price tag $100 higher than the standard RX 9070 XT, the new edition caters to collectors and fans who value aesthetic design and exclusivity as much as raw performance.
ASRock first teased this custom model last month, and now it’s ready for pre-order ahead of its official release on November 21, 2025. The card’s design builds upon the proven Steel Legend base, retaining the same triple-fan cooling solution but adding Monster Hunter-inspired artwork across the shroud and backplate. The backplate features an intricate depiction of the Arkveld monster, rendered in a brushed-metal style that blends gaming art with industrial flair. The RGB lighting has also been reimagined through ASRock’s POLYCHROME SYNC system, allowing gamers to coordinate effects with other compatible components.
Under the hood, the Monster Hunter Wilds Edition maintains the same boost clock of 2970 MHz as the Steel Legend variant, meaning no performance difference – just a visual overhaul. It still offers a robust set of connections including one HDMI 2.1b port and three DisplayPort 2.1 outputs, along with dual PCIe 8-pin connectors for stable power delivery
. ASRock’s decision to keep the tried-and-true cooling design ensures thermal reliability, while a dedicated ARGB header and an LED toggle switch let users personalize their build’s lighting setup with ease.
While some gamers will balk at the premium pricing, it’s important to note that the RX 9070 XT has been selling near the $700 mark regardless of edition due to strong market demand. For Monster Hunter fans looking to build themed rigs or collectors who enjoy rare hardware editions, this card offers both visual impact and dependable power. In short, ASRock’s latest release stands as a stylish fusion of gaming culture and hardware craftsmanship – a collectible that performs as well as it looks.
